Kathryn “Pat” Danyo, age 70, of Avondale Estates died Saturday, November 15, 2008. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Notre Dame and taught mathematics at Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Danyo was a great educator and had a keen interest in developing the talents and skills of the young people she taught. She was also an avid reader and great homemaker. She also taught at Druid Hills United Methodist Church Pre-School for the last 15 years. Mrs. Danyo is survived by her husband, John Danyo; son, Stephen Danyo of Washington, DC; daughters, Emily Roman of Avondale Estates, GA and Andrea Kubis of Pittsburgh, PA; grandson, Gavin Roman; and three brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21st at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will be in Arlington Memorial Park.
