Kathryn Donnan Kuck

Kathryn D Kuck passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, January 6, 2021 surrounded by family two weeks before her 96th birthday. She was proceeded in death by husband of 74 years, Dr John F. R. Kuck.

She was loving mother to Kay Helen, Jack (Anita), Martha, Andy and Mary (John) and grandson, David. Kathryn will be fondly remembered as loving wife, mother, and quiet but assertive feminist and role model for her daughters and all women

She attended Worth County High School, Georgia State College for Women and Duke University, where she received her Master’s Degree. She worked with her husband at the Department of Optholmology, Emory University as lab technician and researcher for twenty years.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur. A memorial service, (virtual if necessary) will be held in the Spring at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Decatur. A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA.
