Kathryn Dupree Ransbotham

Mrs. Kathryn DuPree Ransbotham, 88, of Stone Mountain, died August 23, 2011. Mrs. Ransbotham graduated from Emory University with her Master's degree in Nursing. She was the Director at the Georgia Baptist School of Nursing for 24 years. She received many awards from Mercer University, Georgia State University, and the Medical College of Georgia, for outstanding administrative and educational work. She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Gaines and Patricia A. Bennett; grandsons, Michael T. Bennett Jr. and Warren C. Bennett; granddaughter, Ashley C. Malone; great-grandsons, Michael T. Bennett III, Charles A. Bennett and Dean O. Bennett; sisters, Adrianne Williams and Miriam Minter; and brother, Kenneth DuPree. The funeral services will be held Saturday August 27th, 2011 at 11:00am at the Indian Creek Baptist Church in Stone Mountain with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:30pm, Friday at A. S.
