Kathryn Elizabeth Beacham

Kathryn Elizabeth Beacham passed away June 11, 2007 at her home in Tucker. She was born April 16, 1923 in Plains, Ga. to Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Johnson. She grew up and went to school in LaGrange, Ga. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, William E. Beacham, in 1988. Kat was a longtime member of Clarkston United Methodist Church, where she served as the librarian for many years, and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was a good Christian woman, dearly loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Beacham of Tucker; sister, Tina Perryman of Smyrna; brother, Larry Johnson of LaGrange; brother-in-law, Bill Baxter of Decatur; her caregiver, Fatima Nije; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 14th in the Chapel of the Pines at Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Dr. Larry Amos officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Heartland Hospice Services, 1374 Manchester Drive, N.E., Conyers, Ga. 30012, 770-922-8767. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Chapel of the Pines @ Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
