Kathryn Mcdaniel Dodd

Mrs. Kathryn McDaniel Dodd, 88, of Decatur, GA died October, 19, 2010. A native Atlantan, Kathryn was born on August 21, 1922 and resided in Decatur, GA for 64 years. A member of Decatur Presbyterian Church, she was active in the Decatur Presbyterian Women and volunteer ministries. She was employed by Rich's Department Store from 1951 until 1964. Her husband of 61 years, Charles Jackson Dodd, preceded her in death in 2002. Family members surviving include her son, Donald Jackson Dodd (Nancy); grandchildren, Deborah Dodd Thomas (Bob), Derek Jackson Dodd (Michele) and Darren Kenton Dodd; great grandsons, Chase Thomas and Caleb Thomas. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Friday, October 22nd at Decatur Presbyterian Church followed by the service at 11:30 AM in the church sanctuary.Bishop L. Bevel Jones and Dr. Todd Speed will officiate. Interment will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Park.
