Keith David Siver, 51, of Decatur, beloved son, brother, husband and father, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017. Born September 20, 1966, in Albany, NY, he was the son of David Harold and Carol Ann Darby Siver.
Keith was an exceptional artist and writer, as well as a voracious reader. His skills with a pencil and paper were beyond compare. He enjoyed skiing, cycling, hiking, swimming and being on the water. There were many weekend adventures (camping, skiing, and concerts to name a few) with his friends and family over the years that provided a great number of stories. Travel, regionally as well as internationally, was always a major highlight. He was always interested in new locations, history and cultures. Keith was a genuinely curious person and loved adventure. His time with the family at the camp on Lake Ontario was something he looked forward to every year. Above all, Keith relished time with his friends and family, and especially his two precious daughters, whom he cherished.
Professionally, Keith was an attorney with Warner, Bates, McGough, McGinnis and Portnoy in Atlanta, GA, practicing family law. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 1991. He received his BA from College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York.
In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by his wife, Loreen Siver; two daughters, Danika and Calyn Siver; brother, Scott Siver; nieces, Lily and Darby; aunts, cousins, and many more loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 - 5 p.m. with a service at 5 p.m. Friday, October 13, at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home.
