Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Anthony King, 42, of Suwanee passed away on Friday, March 13, 2009 at his home. He was born in Columbus, OH and grew up in Inez, KY, later moving to the Atlanta area, after marrying the love of his life, Raleigh. Ken served in the U. S. Army 3rd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment for 7 years. The most important thing in his life was being involved in all of his children’s activities. He loved coaching his children in youth football, hunting, and golfing. He was the President/ CEO of Hunt Sales Company. Ken was preceded in death by his mother Mary Brewer; grandmothers, Sada Maynard, and Opal King. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Raleigh King; sons, Tyler King, Nick King; daughter, Hunter King, all of Suwanee; mother and father-in-law, Kathryn & Steve Hunt of Buckhead; father, Kenneth Neal King of Gallipolis, OH; brother, Shawn (Kathy) King of Bowling Green, KY; grandmother, Ada Wilson of Columbus, OH; brother-in-law, Marc (Martha) Hunt of Alpharetta; step brother, Donald Brewer, Jr. and family of Columbus, OH; step father, Donald Brewer, Sr. of Inez, KY; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Brandon, Sara, Joseph, Maya, and Daegon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17th at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Larry T. Burgess officiating. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
