Kenneth Bruce Kite, age 69, of Atlanta, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Kathryn McCain Kite, and children, Mark and Matthew Kite, Jim and Laurie Mobley, Kathryn and John Rock, and five grandchildren. Brothers and sisters Joan and Don Fletcher, Michael Kite, Jimmy Kirk, Cheryl Kite and several nieces and nephews. He served proudly in the Air Force, and received a Masters of Science in Applied Physics from Georgia Tech. He was employed by Lockheed Martin in Research and Development with Advanced Tactical Aircraft. He was a pilot and loved sports, especially tennis. He was dedicated to his family and church and will be greatly missed. A celebration of his life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, February 4 at Northside United Methodist Church, 2799 Northside Drive, Atlanta, by Dr. Gil Watson. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to Northside Methodist or the Emory Alzheimer's Disease Research Center. A. S.
