Kyle Bronson Copeland Staloch

September 16, 1988 — November 28, 2023

In loving memory of Kyle Staloch, a bright light and love known for his vibrant spirit, limitless generosity, and contagious smile. Kyle's life, though tragically short, was filled with joy, love and laughter.

Kyle's life unfolded across the Lone Star state. Born in Wichita Falls, Kyle grew up in Midland/Odessa before pursuing studies in psychology, sociology and business. He graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas; it was during those college years that he met Dustin. In Kyle’s words, he was “instantly captivated” and an everlasting love began.

Kyle’s professional life began when he was 16 years old at Outback Steakhouse, where he worked for 8 years. His exceptional talents earned him roles as trainer, manager, and multiple employee of the month awards. In 2012, Kyle joined Dustin in Houston, Texas to support him through medical school. It was there that Kyle launched a career with Mattress Firm, a place where he continued to showcase his dedication, meticulous nature, and above all, ability to connect with people. Humorously, he often described his role as "selling sex and dreams," a phrase that encapsulated his lively personality. In his time there, Kyle twice received national recognition as a Million Dollar Writer and was manager of the year in his district repeatedly.

After 5 years of shared adventures and unwavering commitment through prejudice, Dustin and Kyle were legally married December 9th, 2014 in front of a Christmas tree in San Francisco, California. On March 7th, 2015, Kyle and Dustin celebrated their love and exchanged vows in a wedding ceremony filled with God, family, and friends that was nothing short of magical. The day radiated with undeniable warmth, laughter, and an infectious joy that remains etched in the memories of all who were fortunate to attend.

After honeymooning on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, the couple embarked on a new chapter in Atlanta in June 2015. One fateful day, in October 2016, his soon-to-be business partner walked into his Mattress Firm store. That pivotal moment introduced Kyle to his true calling—real estate, a realm where he would not just sell houses but build communities. In January 2017, he started his real estate journey and sold over $50 million in homes in his first two years. In 2019, in a mere 2 years, Kyle was named #1 Agent in homes sold with Ansley Developer Services.

Kyle excelled as a comfort architect, selling not only food, dreams, and home but also the very fabric of togetherness. His remarkable gift of connecting people went beyond words; he formed communities with an unspoken grace. Kyle’s essence was an invisible bridge that linked lives, addressing unspoken needs and weaving a tapestry of closeness, community, and shared experiences that will forever resonate in our memories.

He is survived by the love of his life and devoted husband, Dustin Staloch; mother, GiGi Brown; father, Kenny Copeland; brother, Kent Copeland; sister, Heather Massey; father and mother-in-law, Boyd and Kelly Staloch; brother and sisters-in-law, Darrin, Miranda, and Kaitlin Staloch; nephews, Robby Massey and Taylor Staloch. A devoted pet father, Kyle adored his sons Teddy and Berkley, who brought immense joy and companionship into his world. Kyle also leaves behind a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who meant the world to him.

Kyle is preceded in death by his grandmothers Leona Collett and Barbara Veasey, and grandfather Kenneth Copeland.

As we remember Kyle, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the love and support during this difficult time. Kyle’s memory will forever live on in our hearts. A celebration of Kyle’s life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 9th in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons with an hour for visitation from 3-4pm preceding.
