Lacey Sofia Hulsey

Lacey Sofia Hulsey was born Christmas morning 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia to Tony and Hilary Hulsey. She passed away January 22, 2012. Our little Christmas miracle died of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.) For two young parents she made figuring out parenthood extremely easy and brought new joy to our marriage. Every day was a blessing. We watched her grow, mind and body. She was so special and magical – she made everyone smile and laugh and brought joy to people's hearts. I had no doubts about my mothering ability. She never cried for more than a few seconds because she was always able to express what she needed. The same goes for her father – he was natural with her. We both got to learn from the best parenting teacher – Lacey. We could hardly put her down. Our time with Lacey before she died in her mother's arms was the best month of our lives and our marriage. We miss you and love you, our dearest angel. You will always be in your Mom and Dad's hearts and we long for the day when our little family's spirits will be united. Our hearts go out to others who have experienced a loss of a baby from SIDS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 28 at 3:00PM at Haygood United Methodist Church in Atlanta with Rev. John Denmark officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A.S. Turner and Sons, Decatur.
