Laura Bob "Bobbie" Estes

Laura Bob “Bobbie” Estes passed away suddenly on December 18, 2019. She was born in Albany GA on August 9, 1940 to Robert and Laura Parham. Bobbie was known for her firm belief in God and a heart that overflowed with love for her family and friends. Bobbie’s smile, laughter, and gentle spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Estes, her children Robin Davidson Lamb, Robert “Bob” Davidson and David Allen Davidson (Bethany,) Vicki Beauchamp (Steve), Jim Estes (Angela) and Jill Tatum (Matt). She will be especially missed by her cherished grandchildren Callen, Brae, Jamarcus and Anslee Davidson, Adam (Katie), Alex, and Audrey Beauchamp, Cole and Lane Estes, Shelby and Sidney Tatum. She is also survived by her sisters Betty Jeanne Byrd and Sarah (Kirk) Moore, her nieces Laura Sanio and Margaret Sudge and nephews Shawn and Patrick Moore.

Bobbie deeply loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them. Her favorite pastimes were travelling with Jim, birdwatching. gardening, and being immersed in the lives of her grandchildren.

Bobbie also had a great passion for animals. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Gwinnett Humane Society PO Box 750 Lawrenceville, GA 30046.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation at 11:00 am. at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, GA 30033. A reception will follow the service.
