Laura Grace Thomas

Laura Grace Thomas passed on 12-21-09. Born Laura Grace Andrews, Sept 13 1933 in Birmingham AL to Grace Wilkey and Joseph Andrews, survived by her husband Jeff Davis Thomas III and four children: Mike Thomas, Cathy Sana, Dave Thomas, Bruce Thomas, and 9 grandchildren. Laura had a passion for serving people: president of the ECP at St. James, LA and Epiphany, Atl.; a Steven's Minister teaching Sundays at St James; leading Campfire Girls / Boy Scouts; teaching reading at her boys' schools; and as a lifeguard, working and teaching related classes. Later, Laura was treasurer for her computer club, and published an Emory Grove directory. A viewing will be held at A.S. Turner Funeral Home from 2 to 4 on December 27^th, and burial service at Church of The Epiphany at 10AM on the 28^th.
