Leila Virginia Price

Leila Virginia Price On September 23, 2023, our Jenny passed away. Jenny was born in April, 95 years ago to W.P. Price and Katherine Nichols Price in Griffin, Georgia.

During her time on this earth, she shared the gift of laughter with everyone. Her four main loves were God, Mike (her favorite dog), the Braves and the Bulldogs. Jenny was a strong woman, proving it even to the end. She attended Georgia State for 2 quarters, and then transferred to her beloved University of Georgia where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi.

After she graduated, Jenny worked in Griffin and Washington, DC, before settling in at BellSouth/AT&T in Atlanta. Retiring at age 55, she played golf until she couldn't any longer. She was a member of Druid Hills Country Club winning many awards. A faithful member of Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church, Jenny loved her Radiant Sunday School class. Jenny will be missed by her friends and family, who celebrate the beautiful life she led.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 2pm in the Kings Bridge Retirement Center pavilion.
