Lenoir Warren

Lenoir Dekle Warren went to be with the Lord on the evening of March 24th, 2015 at the age of 94.

A native Floridian, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Education from Florida State College for Woman in 1942. After both teaching and working as a school librarian for many years, she dedicated herself fulltime to her family.

Lenoir could best be characterized as a woman of deep, unwavering and abiding faith. A friend captured her beautifully when she wrote: "Lenoir was a little woman, barely five feet tall. Her heart was in mission work and prayer ministry. Her prayers were like mini-sermons. If you were on her prayer list, you were a very lucky person. "

She leaves behind a beloved daughter, brother and niece as well as many dear, dear friends and family members in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Lenoir will be laid to rest beside her husband and their infant son in a private family service.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lenoir's "forever church", Pelham Road Baptist Church P.O. Box 25818 Greenville S. C. 29616, or the religious or charitable organization you hold most dear.
