Lenora Evans Ray

Mrs. Lenora Evans Ray, 89, of Decatur, Georgia, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Ray.  She is survived by her son, Michael E. Ray, and his wife, Dianne K. Ray, of Atlanta; a sister, Betty Abbott of Montevallo, Alabama; a granddaughter, Nikki Ray Pielop, and two great-grandchildren, of Houston, Texas.  Mrs. Ray was a dedicated volunteer with the Dekalb Medical Center Auxiliary for over 20 years, and at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park in the Sunrise Chapel Mausoleum, 201 Mount Vernon Road, N.W., in Sandy Springs.
