Leonard Allison, Jr.

Mr. Leonard Allison, Jr., 79, of Atlanta died Wednesday, December 5, 2007.  He served his country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  Mr. Allison graduated from Southern Poly Tech with a degree in electrical engineering.  During his life time he worked for Sat Com, Contel and Western Union.  Mr. Allison was of the Baptist faith.  He was preceded in death by his son, Philip.  Surviving him are his wife of 57 years, Marion Allison; son, David Allison and his wife Anna of Tucker, Paul Allison and his wife Chris of Suwanee; four grandchildren, Candace, Elena, Clara and Laura; and brother, E. Jerry Vaughn.  The remains of Mr. Allison will be shipped to Arkansas for services. A. S. Turner & Sons
