Lewis B. Mallory

Mr. Lewis B. Mallory of Stone Mountain died Thursday, February 8, 2007.  He was a graduate of Decatur Boys High School and an honor graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering.  Mr. Mallory was a World War II veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Air Corps as a tail gunner.   He was founder of Mallory & Evans Mechanical Contractors, Inc.  Mr. Mallory was a charter member of St. Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church in Stone Mountain.  He was preceded in death by his son, Lewis Bartow Mallory, Jr.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Anne Skillern Mallory; daughter, Terri Anne Mallory of Atlanta; two grandchildren, Elena Ana Maria Mallory and Daniel Lewis Mallory; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 11th at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.  Father Benno Pattison, Rev. Rebecca Parker and Rev. Helen Skillern will officiate.  Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Mallory Family Fund at Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
