Lillian Douglas Burke

Mrs. Lillian Douglas Burke, age 91, formerly of Atlanta, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007.  She was a long time Christian School teacher.  Mrs. Burke was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Burke, Sr. and son, Thomas E. Burke, Jr.  She is survived by her twins, daughter, Mary Burke Stover and husband Marvin of Braselton, GA; and son, David Marvin Burke and wife Chris of Alpharetta; sister, Rachael Whiddon of Waycross; daughter-in-law, Dawn Tatum Burke; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Monday, May 28th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment will follow at Westview.  Rev. John Burke officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
