Lillie Brewster Church

Lillie Pearl Church, 99 of Tucker died Thursday January 31, 2008. She was the second of twelve children born to John and Rosa Shrader Brewster. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jim and Sue Church of Atlanta; sisters, Edith Ropel of Frankfurt, IN, Freedia Munsey and her husband, George of Roanoke,VA; grandchildren, Jeff and Pam Church of Suwanee, GA; Deborah and Chris Thurmond of Athens, GA. Also surviving are great grandchildren, Blake, Anna, Davis and Caroline Church, Sarah Elisabeth and Christopher Thurmond as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with Bishop L. Bevel Jones officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial gifts in her memory to the Building Fund of Decatur First United Methodist Church, 300 East Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at A. S. Turner & Sons.
