MRS. LINDA GAIL BURNS WAS BORN IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS ON JANUARY 29, 1958 TO MS. PEARLE V. MILLER AND MR. JOHN L. RANSON. SHE ACCEPTED CHRIST FROM AN EARLY AGE AND WAS A FAITHFUL MEMBER OF SHILOH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH.


MRS. BURNS WAS A DEDICATED STUDENT IN SCHOOL AND GRADUATED FROM SAM HOUSTON HIGH SCHOOL IN JUNE OF 1977. SHE THEN ENTERED INTO THE HEALTHCARE FIELD WHERE SHE SERVED FOR SEVERAL YEARS. AFTER LEAVING THAT FIELD, SHE WENT ON TO WORK FOR MERVYN'S AND REMAINED A LOYAL EMPLOYEE FOR OVER 10 YEARS.


MRS. BURNS WENT ON TO HAVE TWO CHILDREN TO WHICH SHE REMAINED A FAITHFUL AND LOVING MOTHER FOR THE REMAINDER OF HER LIFE. SHE MOVED TO ATLANTA, GA IN 2010. THERE, SHE GAINED MANY NEW FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS. SHE LEAVES BEHIND TO CHERISH HER MEMORY THOSE TWO CHILDREN, ASHLEY N HILL, AND JILLIAN C. HILL, A SON IN LAW, DERRICK M. ANDERSON, AND THREE GRANDCHILDREN, JAKEVIN L. BUSH, AIYANNA A. FAMBROUGH, AND DEMIR M. ANDERSON. ALSO LEFT TO CHERISH HER MEMORY, HER MOTHER MS. PEARLIE V. MILLER, SISTER SHARON D. HALL, AND A HOST OF OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS.


PRECEEDING HER IN DEATH IS HER HUSBAND, MICHAEL A. BURNS, GRANDMOTHER AND GRANDFATHER, MRS. LILLIE A. AND MR. NATHANIEL MILLER, HER BROTHER JEFFREY L. RANSON, AND SISTER LISA S. RANSON.


MRS. BURNS WAS KNOWN AS A VERY LOVING, COMPASSIONATE, AND GIVING WOMAN WHO NEVER MADE AN ENEMY. SHE WAS ALWAYS UPBEAT, HAPPY, AND WILLING TO TAKE CARE OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. SHE WAS VERY CLOSE WITH HER IMMEDIATE FAMILY AND REMAINED CONNECTED TO THEM NO MATTER WHERE IN THE WORLD THEY TRAVELLED. SHE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED AND HER MEMORY WILL LIVE ON THROUGH THOSE WHO KNEW AND LOVED HER.
