Linda Hogan

Linda Deakins Hogan passed away Saturday, June 9, 2007 after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma.  Linda was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN to Robert and Anna Deakins. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Hogan, and they settled in the Decatur, GA area.  She was employed by Northlake Mall as a Guest Services Manager, and also co-owned Tall Tails Pet Sitting Inc. with her husband, Bob. Linda's passion was rescuing and loving her pets.  Her compassion for people and pets will forever change her friends and family. Linda is survived by her husband, Bob; and mother, Anna Deakins (Chattanooga, TN); mother-in- law, Joan C. Hogan (De Pere, WI); and extended family. She was an only child but loved being part of Bob's family - brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert. Linda's passion was rescuing and loving her pets.  In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation at info@Marf.org or Atlanta Pet Rescue at www.atlantapetrescue.org. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 15th.  Dr. Harold Brooks will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
