Lisa Ann Barton Temples

Lisa Ann Barton Temples, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her home in Lilburn GA.
Lisa was born on August 12, 1956 in Nashville, TN to the late Stuart Edward and Jane Mathis Barton.
She was a graduate of Towers High School and Georgia State University with a BA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing. After 31 years as a paraprofessional at Gwinnett County Schools, Lisa retired in May 2019. She loved art, baking, and making children smile. She taught Sunday School at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Tucker, GA.
She is survived by her husband, Burton Smith Temples Jr., whom she married on August 30, 1974; a daughter, Christine Lanier Temples; a son and daughter-in-law, Burton Smith Temples III and Amanda Perkerson; a son and daughter-in-law, Stuart Ralph Temples and Kirsten Teresa Langwick-Temples; grandchildren: Cameron Stuart and Audrey Christine Langwick-Temples; brother and sister-in law, Ed and Jan Barton; sister, Mary Barton; brother-in-law and sister, Bill and Tina Christie; brother and sister-in-law, Clark and Lisa Barton; nieces: Beth, Laurie, Kate, and Melissa; nephew: Josiah.
Visitation will be at A.S. Turner & Sons (2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033) on November 7th at 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (4882 LaVista Rd, Tucker, GA 30084) on November 9th at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Midway Cemetery fund c/o Presbytery of Greater Atlanta, Chip Blankinship, 1024 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30306.
