Lois Wall Pruitt passed away on July 13, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas A. Pruitt, her daughter Susan (Robert) Perdue of New Albany, Ohio; her son Randy (Vicki) Pruitt of Lawrenceville, Ga.; granddaughters, Nicole (Mike) Burmeister of Gahanna, Ohio, Courtney Perdue of Columbus, Ohio; grandsons, Matthew Pruitt of Winston Ga. and Jason (Megan) Pruitt of Woodstock, Ga.; great granddaughter, Alayna Burmeister; sisters, Jean Baucom of Pilot Mountain , N.C., Ann Nethery of Greensboro, N.C.; brother, H. Brantley Wall of Baltimore, Maryland. Following High School she attended Montreat College at Montreat, N.C. Following graduation at Montreat she entered Maryville College graduating in 1944. She spent one year in Danbury, N.C. teaching school. In the summer of 1945 she began to work with Georgia Power Company in Atlanta, Ga. She married Tom Pruitt in September 1948. They moved to DeFuniak Springs, Florida and resided there for two years and then returned to Atlanta, Ga. in September of l95l where she lived until her passing. Lois was a "stay –at-home Mom" and she did a marvelous job of raising her two children. She was a gifted flower arranger and loved working with her flowers in her backyard flower garden. Lois was active with The Women of the Church at Clairmont Presbyterian Church. She leaves many friends to cherish her many contributions. In lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association or to Clairmont Presbyterian Church.
