Mrs. Loraine Pickett Wright, age 87, died Thursday, April 8, 2010. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, January 4, 1923, to the late John C. and Willie Mae Pickett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Wright, Jr., infant brother and her sister Billie Pickett Gray. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Dot Pickett of Stone Mountain, Richard and Lori Pickett of Millen; sisters-in-law, Bettye Sue Wright of Decatur, Evergene Ayers of Austell; several nieces and nephews and several great nephews. She was a graduate of Atlanta Girl’s High School and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2010 at 10:30 A. M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Ed Ayers, Jr. officiating. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
