Lorene Hibbets

Mrs. Lorene Hibbets of Doraville died Thursday, July 29, 2004.  Mrs. Hibbets graduated from Central State University in Oklahoma with a degree in education.  She was a director of home economics at Middleton High School in Middletown, NJ.  She moved to Atlanta in 1969 with her husband and worked in marketing research until 1990 when she retired. She is survived by her husband, Richard S. Hibbets of Doraville, GA; son, Charles R. (Chuck) Hibbets, II and daughter-in-law, Amira Hibbets of Tucker, GA; daughter, Pamela C. Richards of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Lisa J. Rose, Tara H. Lindsay, & Richard S. Hibbets, II; great grandchildren, Jackson Lindsay & Gwen Hibbets.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, August 2, 2004 at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension with Rev. Richard Willsea officiating.  Entombment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at A. S. Turner and Sons.
