Lori-Gene Fenster

Lori-Gene Fenster of Stone Mountain passed on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was 58 years old. Lori-Gene was an independent visual artist. From 1994-2003 she was Assistant Professor of Art at Georgia Perimeter College in Clarkston where she taught art appreciation and ceramics. She is survived by her husband, Ken Fenster, in-laws Elaine Fenster, Herb and Lynn Fenster, Beth and Jerry Tidwell, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, Georgia on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at 4:00 PM. A gathering will immediately follow at 2388 Oxbow Circle, Stone Mountain. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the DeKalb Symphony Orchestra or the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra.
