Mrs. Lottie Lee Hawks of Decatur died in her home Thursday, July 7, 2005 at age 100. She was one of the founding members of North Decatur United Methodist Church and was responsible for arranging the floral designs at the church for over 40 years. Lottie was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother to many family and friends. She was proud of her professional accomplishments and her secretarial career, spanning nearly 50 years. She was an avid gardener, discovered oil painting later in life and loved to cook for all. She is survived by her sons, Joe Hawks of Roswell, GA, Tiff Hawks of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Lisa Jacobs, Mark Hawks, Beth Hawks, Trina Floyd, David Hawks, Kyle Hawks, Chad Floyd; great grandchildren, Witt, Reed, Charlotte, Kalea, Blake, Avery, Grant and Davis. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Jody Alderman officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may send contributions to the North Decatur United Methodist Church, 1523 Church St., Decatur, GA 30060. The family will receive from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Saturday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
