Louie Curtis Shields

Louie Curtis Shields of Decatur died Monday, February 21, 2005. He was a member of Martha Brown United Methodist Church, and was a long-time employee and retired from the US Postal Service. A devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Catherine Shields. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Glenda & Larry Fountain of Dunwoody; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald & Olivia Shields of Brooks; grandchildren, Rhonda Shields of McDonough, Theresa Shields of Covington, Heather Lee & her husband Gerard of Port St. Lucie, FL, Angela McGovern of Atlanta, Lari Wyzykowski & her husband Kevin of Cumming; and great granddaughter, Charlotte Rae Wyzykowski. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 26, at 11:00 am in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Rev. Jess Walter will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Martha Brown United Methodist Church, 468 Moreland Avenue, SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Saturday morning at A. S. Turner & Sons.
