Mrs. Louise M. Gaines, 95, of Tucker, GA died Saturday, January 17, 2009. She retired from Emory University Hospital after many years of service. Mrs. Gaines was a very active member of Briarlake Baptist Church and she was an avid gardener who enjoyed working in her yard. Mrs. Gaines is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jean G. and Leonard Buffington of Tucker; grandchildren, Steve (Gail) Buffington of Marietta, Mary Lynn (Jeff) Berlin of Powder Springs, Stan Buffington and his fiancee Wendy Watkins of Tucker, Laurie (Jeremy) Conlon of Tucker, Libby (Bob) Carroll of Lilburn; great grandchildren, Ashley Moorhead and her fiance Dustin Skidmore, Christie (Ben) Maloch, and Nicholas Berlin. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Vista Care Hospice, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Susan G. Komen For The Cure. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
