Louise White Wilson, 92, died peacefully September 16 in Seaford, Delaware. She was an active member of GraceBaptistChurch. Her home most of her life was Atlanta, where she was an active member of SmokeriseBaptistChurch. She was employed by the federal government during World War II, but her main career was that of homemaker. She was an avid gardener, and enjoyed traveling extensively with husband, Bill.
Born December 31, 1915, daughter of James Walter White and Ruth Adella White, preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William B. Wilson (Bill), a retired photo-journalist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Marcia and James H. Thompson, of Seaford, Delaware, and Peggy and Ronald St. John of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; four grandchildren, Susan Litchford of Dover, Delaware, Kay Meyer of Raleigh, North Carolina, Adam and Melanie St. John of Ottawa, Canada, Courtney, Ron, and Mandy St. John of Atlanta, and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, James White of Lenoir City, Tennessee, and a sister, Marie Edwards of Carrollton, Georgia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service on September 23 at 1:30 pm will be at Decatur Cemetary, followed by a memorial service at 2:30 pm at SmokeriseBaptistChurch, 5901 Hugh Howell Road, Stone Mountain.
