Mrs. Josephine (Jo) Zeagler Dodson, 92, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Russell William Dodson, and daughter JoAnn Dodson Scott. Jo began her career as a buyer for Belk Gallant in Decatur, and then worked as a manager at Casual Corner for 25 years, first at the Suburban Plaza Store and then she opened the North DeKalb Store. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran of the Redeemer. Jo was a resident of Decatur and for the last 6 years she resided at Sunrise of Decatur. Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff and caregivers at Sunrise and Evercare Hospice, who loved and cared for Jo so well. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Louise and John Cattaneo, Nancy and Gene Davis; son-in-law, Charles Scott; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ben Rish; brother, John H. Zeagler; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Sadler (Steve), Stephanie Kinder (Rob), Melanie Young (Gene-O), John Cattaneo (Andrea), Lauralee Burke (Jay), Jo Allyson Cattaneo, Ashley Wickstead (Frank); Amy Antenen (Wes); seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 25th at 11:00 A.M. at Decatur with Pastor Robert Simms officiating.
