Luan Jones

Mrs. Luann Bailey Jones, age 57, of Norcross, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Southwest DeKalb High School and Georgia State University. She worked for many years as a NICU nurse, and then spent the latter part of her life caring for her family. She is survived by her husband, Ed Jones; daughters, Anna Jones Simpson and her husband Tommy, Abigail Jones Knoll and her husband Mike; granddaughters, Emma Jean Simpson, Rosie Simpson; aunts, Marguerete Brooks, June Marlow; uncle, Billy Mitchell and his wife Nell; cousins, Milton & Patti Shiver, Al and Sharon Brooks, Wes and Darlene Mitchell, Mandy and Russell Childers, Harriet Bailey Moore, Alice Stephens; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 18^th at 11:00 A. M. at Mt. Carmel Christian Church with Rev. Mitchell Shiver officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Northridge Christian Church, Hardwick, GA or to Jack Ballard Church Builders, c/o Dale Sikes. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
