Mrs. Lucille Reel Harris of Decatur, GA, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 26, 2015, at the age of 86. Born in Union Mills, NC, on March 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Addie Lee and Elizabeth Morris Reel.
Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and dedicated member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church where she worshipped for 54 years. She will be remembered for her faith in Christ, devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren, and service to others - generous beyond measure.
Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her middle daughter, Linda Harris, and older sister, Frances Reel Rigsbee. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William E. Harris; daughters Lori Harris of Duluth, GA, and Lisa Harris Graham and husband Preston, of New Haven, CT; and grandchildren Stephen and wife Meghan, Nathan, and Anna Graham.
The family will receive friends Friday evening, May 1st from 5 – 7 P.M. at
A. S. Turner & Sons in Decatur. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 2nd at Clairmont Hills Baptist Church in Decatur. Graveside service and burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker.
