Mrs. Lucile Todd , age 97, of Clarkston, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, when she was greeted by a host of angels and taken home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. All of those who were fortunate enough to have known her will forever be touched by her kind spirit, her soothing smile and her limitless love. Born in South Georgia, she moved to Atlanta in her early twenties. She lived a life that was dedicated to the service of other people. After raising her own family, she then became a foster parent, and for over 50 years, dedicated her time and resources to helping the handicapped. She was a member of the Clarkston United Methodist Church for 32 years. As our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, she will be greatly missed; but her memory will always be cherished. Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her loving husband, James B. Todd, mother, father, and five brothers. She is survived by two daughters, Kitty (Maddox) and Dudley McGarity, Mary and Scott Jordan; two sons, Jerry and David; seven grandchildren, Katrina and Mike Slayton, Scotty Jordan, Todd Jordan, Pam and Brett Marquis, Stephanie and Doug Williams, Truett and Maureen Maddox, Shane and Mara Maddox; eight great grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Kristin Slayton, Todd Marquis, Wesley and Kevin Maddox, Angelina Lucile Maddox, and Zack Williams.
