Lynette Forrester Caldwell, 85, died October 10, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fletcher M. Caldwell, Jr., and parents, Lila and Niece Forrester. Born and raised in Decatur, she most recently lived at Wesley Woods Newnan-Peachtree City. Lynette retired from the American Red Cross after more than 40 years of service. She was a sensitive loving person who leaves many friends to cherish her memory. Lynette is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Cotton (husband Gene) and Lynn Lewis (husband Billy); her sister Ann Terry Rice (husband George); grandsons, Wesley and Adam Ellis; 4 great grandchildren, as well as 4 nieces and their families. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2007 with interment in Decatur Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent in her memory to Rico United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 185, Fairburn, GA, 30213 the Juvenile Diabetes Association, or the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 12th at A. S. Turner & Sons.
