Lynette Ross

Lynette Ross, 65, passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at Briarwood Health & Rehab in Tucker, GA. Born December 25, 1951, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Claudie Leon Tawater and Frances June Ivins.

Lynette retired from the State of Georgia in 2009 after 34 years of service. She resided in Decatur, GA for almost all of her adult life.

Lynette was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, John Dickinson Ross.

She is survived by her sister, Vicky Kelsey and her husband, David, of Palm Coast, FL; brother, Ricky Tawater and his wife, Seon Mi; nieces, Michelle & Robin of Aurora, CO; and many friends.
Lynette will long be remembered for her life-long love of music and generosity for helping others.

Services and interment will be held at The Church of Our Savior on Saturday November 4th at 3:00 pm with Rev. Canon John Bolton officiating with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to the ALS Association, www.ALS.org.
