Mrs. Lynne Fowlkes Brady, age 52, of Decatur, GA, died Friday, November 19, 2004. She was born December 17, 1951 in Scranton, PA, daughter of Doc and Gwen Fowlkes. Mrs. Brady was a teacher for the multiple handicapped at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind and a member of Pomaria Lutheran Church, Pomaria, SC. In addition to her parents, she is survived by husband, James Brady, Lawrenceville, GA; daughters, Anna Brady of Colonial Heights, VA, Mary and Ramesh Srinivas of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Amy Brady of Pomaria, SC; granddaughter, Caitlin Pangman of Colonial Heights, VA; brothers, Buddy Fowlkes and his two sons of Snellville, GA, Eddie and Anne Fowlkes and their daughter of Decatur, GA, David and Lisa Fowlkes and their two sons of Carrollton, GA, and Jimmy Fowlkes and his son of Lilburn, GA. The family will receive friends at the Lutheran Church of the Messiah Fellowship Hall, 465 Clairemont Ave, Decatur, GA, on Monday, November 22, 2004 at 3:00 pm. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm, with Rev. Haco W. von Hacke. Donations may be made in memorium to the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind at The Walker Foundation in memory of Lynne Brady, 355 Cedar Springs Road, Spartanburg, SC 29302-4699 or to Colony Lutheran Church Deaf Ministry, 48 Colony Church Rd, Newberry, SC 29108.
