Mr. M. Eugene Duncan, age 97, a long time resident of Atlanta, died Friday, April 16, 2010. He served in the U. S. Navy for 22 years during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Surviving Mr. Duncan are his step daughter, Sylvia Martin, step granddaughter, Julane Mangham; step grandson, Billy Yates and Denise; nieces, Jeannine Weathers, Trinette L. Duncan; nephew, Richard Duncan and Kathleen; great nieces, Debbie Greene and Victor, Melanie Harper and Andrew; great nephews, Rik Lawhorne and Rose, Chris Weathers and Jean; great great great nephew, Brody Keel; and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19 at 1PM at the Chapel of the Westview Abbey with Reverend J. Ray Batson officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery with military honors.
