Mabel A. Taylor

June 5, 1917 — March 27, 2005

Mabel Agnes Taylor died Easter Sunday evening, March 27, 2005, surrounded by family and clergy two weeks after a serious stroke.  A native of Alliance, Ohio, Mabel was born June 5, 1917, the daughter of William Frederick and Agnes Scott Conser.  She was an honor graduate of West High School, Cleveland, OH.  She was a beloved Atlanta resident and well known decorator and slip-cover maker for 57 years.  She was an active member of the Something Else Sunday School Class at Briarcliff United Methodist Church for over 27 years.  Preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Anna Packer and brother, Mark Scott Conser.  Surviving sister, Gladys McNeill Logue and a daughter, Jacqueline Ruby Taylor say she was always there for us. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 1, 2005 at Briarcliff United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeremy M. Lawson officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10 - 11 AM Friday at the church.  A. S. Turner & Sons.
