Mabel Anne Vance

Mabel Anne Vance, 83, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Sacred Journey Hospice Home. She was born in Gloucester, Virginia to her late parents, Hubert and Clemmie Wilson. A viewing will be held on Wednesday , January 24 from 10:00 to 11:00am at AS Turner Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA. Burial will follow at 1:00pm at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA. She will be buried with her beloved husband James W. Vance. A 3:00pm memorial service will be held at the Decatur Presbyterian Chapel. Mabel was a devoted military wife who regularly volunteered her time helping those less fortunate. A deeply religious woman, her faith in God was at the center of her life. Mabel will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Bail, son, Barry Vance, grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Vance, and sister, Faye Tevis, and other relatives
