Mamie Milam Mcknight

Mrs. Mamie Milam McKnight of Decatur, GA, formerly of Knoxville, TN and Sheffield, AL, died on Thursday, April 1, 2010.  Mrs. McKnight was born in the Chestnut Glade Community in Weakly Co., TN.  She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1931 and was employed by the Federal Extension Service in Henderson and Benton Counties in TN.  She taught school in Lafollette, TN and Knoxville, TN.  She was a member of the Northlake Church of Christ.  Mrs. McKnight was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. McKnight and is survived by one daughter, Louellen McKnight, of Atlanta, GA.  A private graveside service will be held with A. S.
