Marcelia Dixon Crowe

Marcelia Dixon Crowe, 89, of Atlanta, died February 16, 2013. A native of Atlanta, Mrs. Crowe retired from the upholstery department at Rich's where she worked for over 20 years. Her church membership included Kirkwood Baptist Church, Rainbow Park Baptist, and more recently, Briarlake Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon L. Crowe, and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Karen Crowe of Mocksville NC; daughter, Becky Cook of Atlanta; granddaughters, Catherine Crowe of Burlington NC and Elizabeth Crowe of Mocksville NC. The funeral service for Mrs. Crowe will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013, in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons. Her former pastor, Dr. Frank Crumpler, will officiate and burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. For those desiring, memorial contributions in honor of Marcelia Crowe may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta GA 30346. The family will receive friends 6-8 Monday evening at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
