Margaret Ann Dukes

Margaret Ann Dukes of Decatur, Georgia, passed away peacefully at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home on March 12, 2022.

Margaret was born on April 11, 1934, in South River, New Jersey, where she grew up and graduated from High School. She moved to Florida where she graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in business and sociology and worked as an administrative assistant for different companies. She lived in Port Orange, Florida for many years and moved to Decatur to be near her daughter after being widowed.

Margaret loved art, music and was active in her church and Toastmasters in Florida and Georgia.

She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Oravits of St. Augustine, FL and her children, Janet Fluker of Decatur, GA and Jeff Haas of Summerville, SC and her 4 grandchildren, Megan Fluker, Jennifer Fluker, Sarah Fluker, and Carrie Holland.

Margaret will be laid to rest with a private family ceremony.
