Margaret Ann Archer Fields (Maggie) of Kennesaw, Georgia passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home on September 23, 2008, at the age of 81. She bravely challenged cancer and always lived in the moment.

She met and married her husband, William S. Fields (Bill) in California. She is survived by her brother Ralph Archer, Jr.; her children Douglas A. Fields of Winnetka, Illinois, Deborah F. Goslin of Dublin, Ca. and Jeffrey P. Fields of Woodstock, Georgia; her three grandchildren Matthew, Bradford and Gregory Fields; daughter-in-law Barbara Fields, son-in-law Bruce Goslin, and granddaughter-in-law Lani Fields.
Hobbies: Private airplane pilot, Family’s home designer, Seamstress and Master Gardner. She never met a stranger and often invited them home to share in family gatherings.
Her true passions in life were her family, her pets and her friends. Her home was always filled with laughter and heart-felt love. Three words sum up Maggie’s Spirit; tenacious, giving and joyful!
The Fields Family wants to thank Maggie’s many friends, the Hospice caregivers and her very warm and competent physician, Dr. Carmen Klass, for always being there for Maggie and helping her complete her journey with dignity and grace.
