Mrs. Margaret Frances Almand passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 6, 2008. She was born Margaret Frances Heinold to the late Frank and Katherine Mitterwieser Heinold. . She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Judge Almand. Mrs. Almand worked for General Motors Lakewood, Chevrolet Division, and retired from the Visiting Nurses Association of Atlanta. She is survived by her sons, Doug Almand and Tim Almand; brothers, James Heinold, Charles Heinold; sister, Mildred Bethea; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 3:30 pm Saturday, November 8th, Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in floral Hills Memory Gardens. Those desiring may send contributions to The American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
