Margaret Jeanette Henry

Margie Henry, 84, died Friday morning, June 14, 2013 at 4 am. She left quietly at home. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul; her sister, Laurie Young; her brother, Leroy Kelley; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Kelley. She is survived by her 3 girls, Paula Thornbury, Jan Henry, and Nan French; her precious grandchildren, Josh and Kelly French; dear friend, Sylvia Miller; her nieces, Michelle Martin, Leslie Martin, and Meredith Hedges and family; and many other relatives and friends.
Margie lived in Atlanta, East Point, Decatur, Lilburn, Tampa, Norcross and Stone Mountain, but she always considered herself a native of Talbotton, GA where she was born and where she'll now return to join the light of her life, Paul. There at the old home place, she'll garden and pull weeds to her heart's content.
As a wife, she was devoted. As a mother, she was supporting, loving, and a saint. As a grandmother, she was adored. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be on Tuesday June 18, 2013 from 7-9 pm at A. S. Turner and Sons. The funeral service will be on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons with Rev. Dan Brown officiating. The graveside service will be at 4:00 pm in Talbotton at the family graveyard. In lieu of flowers donations to your local pet shelter would be appreciated.
