Mrs. M. Jeanette Underwood, 83, of Decatur, died Thursday, April 9, 2009. She was a member of Briarcliff United Methodist Church. Mrs. Underwood was a person who enjoyed life and loved people. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carl H. Underwood; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby J. and Willie B. Rhyne of Mt. Holly, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 13th at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Sondra R. Jones officiating. Interment will be at 4:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Cemetery in Mt. Holly, NC. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
