Margaret Jordan Battle

Mrs. Margaret Jordan Battle of Dunwoody died August 29, 2004. She was a member of John?s Creek Baptist Church and a dedicated member of Lion?s Clubs International for many years serving as an officer in local clubs and state clubs. She was a loving, caring mother and friend to many. Mrs. Battle was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Oscar King Battle. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Battle of Dunwoody, GA; and brother, Mr. David Jordan and his wife Mrs. Jo Jordan of Athens, GA. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1st, Rev. Anne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
