Marianne Andrews

Mrs. Marianne F. Andrews of Lithonia died Wednesday, October 20, 2004. She was born and raised in Germany but came to the United States on July 4, 1954. At that time she was given a silver dollar upon her exchange of her currency and she still had that dollar upon her death.  Mrs. Andrews was a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Conyers, GA. She and her husband had moved to Florida to enjoy the weather but not the hurricanes.  Mrs. Andrews was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend to everyone. She is survived by her husband, Hugh Max Andrews of Lithonia, GA; daughter, Marilou Timmerman and her husband Bert of Marietta, GA; grandson, Herb Timmerman; granddaughter, Heather Timmerman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gertrude and Willy Pohlmann, Anneleise Opocensky, Gitti and Klaus Kuffner; brother and sister-in-law, Gunther and Monika Fischer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 23rd, Rev. John W. Beckman officiating. Interment Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Turner & Sons.
