Marie B. Bailey

Mrs. Marie B. Bailey of Decatur died Tuesday, September 20, 2005.  She was born in the Brookhaven area of DeKalb County.  Mrs. Bailey was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church.  She was a loving and devoted wife. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother, Annie Cornelia Adams and C. R. Betenbaugh.  Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Willis A. Bailey of Decatur; brothers, William H. Betenbaugh and his wife Irene of Lawrenceville, T. A. Betenbaugh and his wife Alma of Grayson, G. C. Betenbaugh and his wife Marion of Irmoll, S.C.; sister-in-law, Lillian Page of Lilburn; and brother-in-law, Harold Bailey of Hiawassee; and many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews.  Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 23rd at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.  Rev. (Dr.) Hoyt Frisbee will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
